First off, I must give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Tyson. On January 13, 2009, he took the last part of the 4-part CPA exam, Regulation. He was, as he always is, a bit nervous that he did not pass, but results were not supposed to come until sometime in March. So, we kind of forgot about it, sort of. We only didn't forget all the way about the test because he had already passed the other 3 parts. So, when March came along, he started checking on the Virginia CPA website because the internet was always faster than the mail (hard proof of passing or failing the test). But, Tyson noticed that the website had changed and everything seemed to be taking longer than normal. So, we pushed off expecting the results until mid to the end of March. But, as the end of March approached, no results were posted online. Tyson started to get all worried because he heard that if your results are pushed until the end of the month, you are on the borderline of passing. I did my daily job of checking the mail and Tyson checked the internet, but nothing. On March 29th, nothing came. On arch 30th, nothing came. On March 31st, nothing came. On April 1st, nothing came. FINALLY, on April 2nd, Tyson got his results in the mail. He was at work, so I had to open for him and he called me. So, since I am giving congratulations, you can guess that he passed....but HE PASSED!!!!! He was so relieved and excited! We went for Cold Stone after dinner and both just sighed with relief. Now, we can reimbursed for testing fees and get a small bonus since Tyson passed within his first year of working. Tys - I am so proud of you!!! You rock! Yahoo - no more CPA tests ever in your life!!!!!
In other news, Spring seems to be coming. Last week I heard the ice cream and immediately I was plunged into memories of Las Vegas summers in our pool. We would always jump out and try and catch the ice cream man :) Ahhh, good times. So, Spring MUST be coming because the ice cream man is out. He doesn't come out in the Winter (well, maybe he does, but not in Virginia). In celebration of Spring, the Cherry blossoms have come out and they are beautiful! Tyson, Reed, and I went up to this neighborhood called Kenwood in Maryland. Last week we did see the Cherry blossoms in downtown DC, but Kenwood is more amazing. The reason being is because this little subdivision has lined every road with Cherry trees. Thus, when the blossom come out, EVERY street is filled with Cherry blossoms. It seriously is beautiful. It reminded of the Primary song, "Popcorn Popping." The blossoms really do look like popcorn! So, I have posted tons of pictures of the Cherry blossoms. Hopefully, those of you who could not see these beautiful blossoms, will enjoy the tour! HAPPY SPRING!!!!
He passed :) Phew!!!!
The official paper saying that he has passed all 4 parts of the exam :)
The Cherry Blossom at Kenwood!!!
Isn't that amazing?!
Kind of looks like snow on the trees, except that it was not cold.
Reed was very curious and wanted to touch all the trees

Family Photo Op! Thanks to the random ladies who offered to take the picture :)
More beautifulness!
I love this one!
I think it's so cool that every street is lined.
Don't forget about the telephone wires....
Probably my favorite picture (besides the family one, of course)
Daddy and Reed
Really, EVERY street is lined
It was pretty packed with people and parking was a bit scarce (the police were even there patrolling to make sure we didn't illegally park). Thankfully, my good parking karma worked!
